Concidering that all 3 are 40 pin, 80 wire cables, they're all made the same, they're all insulated the same way, is there really any difference between ATA66, ATA100 and ATA133?

None that I can think of right now.

Then why do people who offer rounded cables say things like "Genuine ATA133"? It's not a selling point if they're all the same. 80 wires is 80 wires, isn't it? =P

Yes it is, I think its just a selling point. I know of no difference between the three cables.

My ata 133 drive is running on an ata 66 cable. I checked it out while my case was open putting a blow hole in it. It is running at ata 133 acording to the ide card and benchmarks.
