is Thermaltake SILENT BOOST a good thing for 2100+

I would get the Silent Boost over that Aero 7. The Silent Boost will not be good for any serious overclocking. It can probably handle a bit with the help from some good case airflow. It will cool the 2100 at stock speeds well.

I would get a thermalright heatsink if I were you, an slk900a can be got for $30 and its far superior to the silent boost.

yeah, thsoe heatsinks that have silent or quiet in their name will only basically be quiet...but not cool ur heatsink vey well if u want to overclock

first for ur price range, if the skies the limit, then buy the sp-97 (best socket a cooler) made by thermalright and a high flow panaflo U1a at www.digi-key.com, archilochus should be able to help u on what the serial is

if u have a budget, the slk-900 is the best, its the third best on the market for athlon xp (next in line to thermalright's sp-97, and slk-947) and same panaflo as mentioned from above

thanx guys, i'll go with slk-900

but do u have a budget or anything? if nto, why not step up to the sp-97? its only about 20 bucks extra, u pay what u get for, but still if you are on a budget, the slk-900 is still a very good heatsink, beats anything thermaltake can churn out of their evil over-priced factories

cool u live in TX wat part?
