Yeah, feel free to copy/paste that, you might have to quote it to get the proper UBB scripts though.

My thoughts: I like your way of thinking, spend the money on the important stuff, screw the rest! :)

Consider this:

For only $10 more you can get a burner, and for $20 more you can get a burner that'll read DVDs. :p

For $6 more dollars you get a great 160 gigabyte hard drive, that's like $.17/gig!!
Hitachi! There's really no need to be scared of Hitachi anymore.

The only other thing I'd consider is a cheap 5.1 setup, you're buying the sound card for it, so why not? They aren't *that* much more.

Nov 20, 2002
yea man.. looks like a good setup. Like tom said, you may want to consider a cheap 5.1 setup cuz I have that sound card and its just BEGGING for it :D other than that though, everything looks good.

Heck, i am getting the Hitachi HD. -Thanks for pointing it out.

The only reason I am not getting the 5.1 sound card is because I can't afford a 5.1 set of speakers. :D

What would be the difference, using a 5.1 sound card with 2.1 speakers? Is it better than a 2.1 sound card with those same speakers?

*edit* By the way, does everything that says OEM on it I need to buy cables for? Just wondering.

ues a 5.1 card with 2.1 speakers is just fine.. thats what I have. Also, anything that is OEM you do need cables for because it is out of box and does not come with anything.
