Did you get it sorted out yet? Actually freezing used to be a hard drive issue but with the newer memory, it could be that. I guess you checked the SPD and actual memory settings to be sure it was detected and set correctly? If it continues to freeze I would run chkdsk to be sure that it is not trying to reallocate a bad sector.

I did run chkdsk. No errors. Yeah still happens

Honestly....I'd get some other sticks and return the PuNY to BB......

Everything passed. At this moment ive tested Ram twice (no errors), this test. Turned all to default settings (no OC) and even made sure to update drivers for the 1070 via device manager as the current one could cause freezes.
