Is this good enough for CAD or spend more?

I have 4 computers at home, and it seems like it is a waste to build another computer for 3D CAD playing. The newest with the most potential is:

CPU: AMD Athlon XP 1700
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-7VRX
Memory: cheap 256 don't know what speed
Video Card: Geforce 2 titanium 64

I know everything is cheap. Should I upgrade my cpu and memory to 2400xp 266 and one piece 1gig pc2700 ddr333, or should I just build a whole computer for under 1000-- not really worth it. Don't know where the old computers should go. =[

I try to do some CAD work on that computer and it lacks "virtual memory" upgrading the memory should be enough right?

New computer idea:

Opteron 148
DFI lanparty nf4 ultra
G.skill extreme 2X1gb
6600gt
Xp-120
Fortron Bluestorm
Cheap hard drive / dvd burner i got from Black friday

I run Autocad 2006 with LDD and CDD at work on three different machines, the least powerful having a 733mhz P-III with 512mb of PC-133 and a Matrox G400.
I wouldn't say it runs 2006 well, but it does run it at a semi-reasonable framerate unless I try and work with massive TIN terrain surfaces. A bit slow when working with large files with multiple XRefs, but what can you expect from a 733mhz P-III.
You should be fine with your computer as long as you have at least 512-1024mb of ram.
