Yes, your score is about right given your default CPU speed. You could REALLY improve your score by running a higher FSB speed and overclocking your CPU (even 10*200 FSB). Of course, you would have to get some better/faster memory. Your video card overclock is very good... you are simply being held back by your CPU/FSB/memory speeds.

As a comparison, I scored about 15.5k with my Ti4200 @ 300/675 and my 1700+ Tbred @ 2.4 GHz (11*220 FSB).
 
If you want to overclock your chip your going to have to find out what core it is. Go here GCPUID THREAD
After you download and install check which core you have. It should say if it's a Palomino core or a TBRED core. If it's a TBRED core then your in luck. Proceed to the AMD section of the CPU area for overclocking. Also if you can overclock your RAM then your in luck. Good luck
