I'm just wondering if this is viable...
Club 3D Radeon HD4850 1024
4 GB DDR3
AMD Athalon II x4 630 - or I'm thinking of bumping it down to the AMD 250 2x3Hz which is cheaper, but 'faster' for the mostly single core old stuff I'd be running. Also I don't know what I'd have that would use 4x cores...
ASUS m4a77TD

I have a hdd, dvd drive case etc. Need to get a PSU but aside from that any ideas?

would this run oblivion fine? Any choking? need moar ram?

Never heard of Club 3D.

I'd really suggest taking the hit and getting a 955 or atleast 945 if you build an AM2+ or AM3 system.

It'll run two instances of Oblivion side by side. At reasonable rates.

Also given the cheapness thereof nowadays, can you find a cheap 4870 1GB? It'll be a nice little boost.

What is your budget with taxes all in?

Maybe someone can suggest something better?
