issues with internal sata port on Ultra blackhawk PC Case

I put a GA-990fx-gaming MB into a Blackhawk ultra rose will (Newegg name brand) case; however I can’t get the internal sata port on the case to see the sata channel port its plug into at all within the BIOS. I have it plugged into sate port number 2 on the motherboard, let me know any resolution to this issue. Thanks in advanced. (Running windows 8.1 Pro SP1 64 bit edition if needed to know)

Shouldn't it be plugged into an eSata port?

Is your SATA controller in AHCI mode?
