I guess it says something about a game when you manage to throw your back out and hurt your shoulder playing it.

A friend of mine got me Super Swing Golf. It's very good.

With Super Swing Golf, the movements are more exagerated, so I guess it's easier to hurt yourself.

It's actually a really good game; a bit more advanced than Wiisports Golf.

Does it read wrist movement well?

I guess a better question is do you play golf and do you hit the ball straight when you do and does the game simulate hooks, slices, drawl? What kind of clubs can you use other than the standard SW-Driver?

Super Swing Golf is actually very good. The level of character customization is almost insane, with the sheer volume of crap you can buy for your characters in the game, and the unlockables that are available.

Play mechanic is leagues advanced over Wiisports Golf in regards to ball positioning, shots that can be performed, and other such like that. Choosing where to hit the ball is done via sub-menus before you perform your swing, and the swing is pretty intuitive. The learning curve is a bit steep however, and you won't be performing 200+ yard drives right off the bat (at least I wasn't).

The characters are detailed and cute, the landscapes vibrant and interesting. Do NOT expect a Tiger Woods-esque golf simulator. This game is definitely not that. But it is painfully fun to play.

IIRC, it's actually designed by the same people who designed Hot Shots Golf.

This game is freaking HARD! Sweet science is it difficult. However, maybe I just suck at it. I'll just have to keep practicing.

My arm was hurting the first day I got dbz budokai tenkaichi 2 while doing the kamehameha. Who would have thought it would be painful to game?

I seriously cannot get enough of this game. It's so intuitive and fun! I'm getting really really good at it, too! I'm hitting power shots like, 80% of the time easy. It's really fun.

I've unlocked another character and a whole truckload of equipment and items and clothing for the characters. It's pretty slick.

Your kids would pro'lly really dig it. Just make sure they are supervised while playing or you might end up w/ a Wiimote embedded in your wall or tv.
