Sorry to be the picky ****, but vinyl has the to be the most often misspelled word here in the water forums. It hurts my brain seeing 'vinal' and 'vynil' all the time.

yea there should be a sticky that lists all watercooling related terms spelled correctly and how to pronounce them lol

I have a problem spelling it...

And we own vinyl records! How many of ya'll can say that :)

Just like spelling peltier peilter...its gonna happen and you can't stop it.

Internet killed the Grammar Star

Illah I'm with you, it bothers me seeing all the misspelling all the time, but it's never gonna stop...

When I was in grade school, spelling was stressed a lot, but I think that's changed in recent years. Either that or this new AOL/AIM generation with all the shortcuts in spelling (ie, "plz") has just dumbed people down.

Foreigners are completely excused in my book. But the Americans/Canadians etc... it just bothers me to see the spelling ineptitude so common. And it's not just a minor ineptitude either in most cases, it's pretty bad.

Dammit, you're making me want to pick up my old habits of being the grammar police again! :D

This here, is your answer.

I would put money on it if I didn't spend it all on my waterblock :)

Also, Thermodynamics is ONE word.:D

Oh yeah, one more.

I threads all the time in the forum with people writing "my fan is going 2800 rpms"

rpm or RPM is already plural, it stands for revolutions per minute!
:argue:

Microsoft Word took out the see and the commas

lol, you use MSword to write your forum posts?
there's one more thing that bugs me lately, laziness. don't use a word processing program to check your spelling, learn to spell on your own.

I am a very good speller, and I do not use MS Word for my forum posts. It's not laziness (you assume to much), it's just on a post of this subject, I wanted to be sure.
