I'm on my third KA266 board now in less than a month.
They run fine for about four days then spontaneously reboot while I'm doing something. The first two went to POST and I got the dreaded BIOS ROM CHECKSUM ERROR. They went into the bootblock routine trying to reflash the bios but AWDFLASH coughs out the message "flash unknown". I tried flashing the first board while it still worked but also got the "flash unknown" message and quit trying. It worked for a couple more days and died. Any thoughts from the list? I'm half afraid to start my new board.
The box:
AXIA 1G 133bus running 10x, Thermoengine, Crucial 256M, Geforce2mx, purty Lian Li case with 11 fans, chip runs about 103F. Also have IDE bus card installed for 2 hard drives, a zip, and 3 cdroms.
