Howdy all!

I have an IWILL XP333 that I run somewhere between 166FSB
and 177FSB. I read this artcle that I got linked to from HardOCP
and I've also found new BIOS on their rather crappy web page:

http://www.vr-zone.com/reviews/Memory/DDR333/

I've not gotten 200Mhz FSB, but these guys did, repeatedly!!

And here is new March 14th BIOS! When did these come out!

Non-RAID BIOS

RAID BIOS

I'll tell you guys how it fairs for me. I'm hoping to get 200Mhz
FSB with an 8X multiplier.

Son of a.....

I had two of these systems, I returned one to the store because
I couldn't get the *******d to flash the BIOS.

Well guess what. This one I have here in my system won't flash
the damn BIOS.

Guess what I think I did?

I think you would have to ask Microcenter how the new BIOS
works, cause I don't think I'll find out anytime soon! LOL

Raven- Have you tried the BIOS-ROM FLASH PROTECT setting on the CPU Clock BIOS page.

I flashed the 3/14 on 2 boards over the weeken and I liked the results. One of the boards was giving me trouble before and is now deceased but I liked the way they were performing with the new BIOS.

I was able to run rhe fsb right up there and was at 177MHz with KingMax PC2700 for both of them when the trouble started.

I'm thinking of replacing my losses with brand new XP333 boards. I think they will be Thoroughbred ready because it looks like Iwill is devoting a lot of resources into making it a leader.

Harvey

P.S. Did you see the O/C.com coverage of the XP333? It's a board that keeps getting better and better.

P.P.S. Good luck in your race. It looks like you're taking on half the old Nova-Star team.

Yeah, I'm aware of the flashbios lock thingy.

And no matter how I have it set, I just can't burn an update.
It just can't seem to find the flash chipset. I'm wondering if
it's a voltage issue....

Either way, I think I'm kinda screwed right now.
