I found this post after ordering all new parts to build myself a new 64bit system and I must say I was pleased to find that I ordered a few of the same parts you are using. I am a newb and I have been reading up on post for the last few weeks in order to get a good overclocking computer for a reasonable price. What I finally went with after half a dozen cancelations from newegg and zipzoomfly:
DFI Lanparty ultra D
2x512 Mushkin blue BH-5 (hopefully, won't know till I get it on monday)
Fortron 500W Blue Storm
MSI Geforce 6600gt
I havn't ordered a processor, I am holding out for either the venice core or a pricedrop in the Winchesters, but I will get a 3200+. I know our memory is a little different but I was hoping I could get some help from you when I set this thing up. Sadly I have to wait a little while before I come up with a good cooling solution, for now i'll have to run stock, but that will give me some time to break in the components and read up on what I need to know before I start to overclock. I think I should get some nice results though, tell me what you think.

I believe you have to do a slight mod to the chipset as well.A64skate said:So that is all you have to do in order to make the ultra-d sli? Just get one of those sli bridges?
