my brother is going off to college this coming fall. so he was thinking to get a new computer. he was looking to get a lappy, but decided not to for some reason and decided to get a desktop. so he come to me and ask me to build him a puter. so i was like ok what is your price range, thinking he was going to say $500 or so he says he wants the best money can buy, so get him the top of everything that $1500 can get him. Truly i think i am going to enjoy building this pc for him since it will kick a@@. and i will want it for myself. he wants a parts list with prices and stuff but i told him to wawit awhile for some new stuff to comne out. we decide to built this kicker like in august. MAN i cant wait to put this future rig together. soooooo much goodness.

sounds like fun but just so you know in august,if you wait until feb 04 better stuff we be out then and cheaper!

what i mean is waiting in pc's dont pay unless its for one particular thing.and if the athlon64 is what your waiting for,it will be so expensive and buggy id pass on it myself for a while.

i think athlon64 r designed as clone of the P4,
and we don't know it well as socket a cpu's...

and barton has no real advantage 4 u...
more cache, more performance?
i don't think so...
