i wouldnt think that a problem, if it is change ur divider. i have never heard of nic's causing problems or sound cards.

if it is even with pci bus then it is hd data corruption

I had a problem with my 3com nic. The system wouldn't even post. I actually thought that I killed my cpu's, because I bought another cpu and tried it in the meantime. Then I changed over to my Linux rig and put the nic in that one. The 3com nic works fine, but not in the primary rig. I found out my cpu's both work and bought another nic and the primary system works fine now. Everything else is the same in the rig. I have sound and controller cards in the PCI slots that work fine overclocked. I can also oc further now with the new nic card.
