Ok any tips and driver stuff. New to Ocing vid cards, old at MOBO. So anything that will be helpful and yes I am a lil cautious at first. I was a Nvidia fan until I got burned ont eh FX series.

You will need to flash the bios in order to unlock it, Here is some great info read up on it well and when you feel confident enough flash the bios and overclock away,if yours is anything like mine it will do well, I have had my core maxed at 390 and memory to 640 ddr and have gotten just a hair under 15k in 3dmark 2001se.

I am kinda curious. I hada awesome frame rateas with my TI4400 but wne t wiht ATI 9550Pro af ter a ****y card GEForceFX5200 Ultra. Anyhow, I have not really seen any difference in texture or qulity. What (as I sound very stupid), am I suppose ot see different. I read alot of company hype, but would like some techie to really explain what iot is I am not or can do.
OK now I really sound stupid....

Umm...

At default speeds, the 9500pro is around the range of the 4400 in raw fps.

You should be able to notice better graphics, i.e richer colours and textures.

However the real fun begins when you turn up AF and/or AA.
Play with those settings and compare it with your older 4400.

Yeah the 9500Pro is about the same speed as the 4400 with default settings. However it is far superior in AA and Antialiasing performance. Have fun with quality settings :).
