just read MaximumPC's review on it. they gave it an 8, with the downsides being the changes to the multiplayer format.

ill skip that and go find Pandora Tomorrow for cheap somewhere...which i never played.

The game is a poorly done port for PC regardless of the fact it doesn't support Pixel Shader 2.0 lol

I agree . Even the demo was a joke . Graphics were far from anything "new" (or worthwhile) , and game play/controls/graphics were all from a definite port job . :-/ . If I wanted console action ... I'd have bought a console .:p

Unfortunate ,that this is too much of a trend these days .... porting to pc really never works imo .

Well the highest I've got it is 2.3Ghz, its a locked Barton and if I put the voltage above 1.7V it tends to just crash.

I think I've decided to go out to my local store and buy a standard Nvidia 7600 GS 256MB 128-bit GDDR2 card, as reviews I've read of it said it should give performance between 20-30fps at 1280*1024/medium settings onDouble Agent.

My question is - how will a 7600 compare to my X800? Will I, in effect, be spending £90 to downgrade for the sake of PS 3.0, or will I actually see an improvement in all games?

Thanks again :)

If you have not gotten it already I would wait. Get something with more power. I am running a 7600GS in my x2 machine and the game runs SLOW, at less then those resolutions. I am not 100% sure it is the video cards fault. It could just be a poorly coded game. But no point in getting a 7600gs now. As you will be running into problems playing games in another 6-12 months. I would spend a little more now and get either a gt or a 7900gs (or is it 7800gs for agp) series if you can afford that much. That would be my minimum purchase point anyway. (OR x19 series card, i forget the exact model number for agp) but not sure they run SM3 either)
