Well I finally got all my parts in for my new gaming/video editing PC. There are still a few parts I want to get, but that will have to wait until I have more money.

The Specs:
AMD 64 3200+ (I think it is the 2.2GB with 512kb and not the 2.0GB with 1MB)
ASUS K8V SE Deluxe
1024MB DDR400 PC3200
2 60GB Maxtors in RAID 0 @ 5400RPMs (System OS and Apps)
2 60GB Maxtors in RAID 0 @ 5400RPMs (Storage)
ATI AiW 8500DV 64MB
DVD/CD-RW Combo drive
Antec P160
Allied 450W

At some point I will add a DVD Burner, but with the new Dual Layer drives coming out I will wait and just stick with the DVD burner on my laptop. I know that my Graphics card needs and upgrade but for now it will do. I might try for an ATI Aiw 9800 Pro later. Also, I wanna get a 74GB Raptor SATA drive, but would it really be worth getting.

Is there anything in particular that I should install or not install after I load Windows XP Pro? (drivers, utilities, tweaking progs, etc.)

Thanks to everyone that recommended me getting an AMD 64 chip instead of an Athlon XP.
