Just finished making MY Spiral (pics)...

Here is my Mini Spiral...

1/4" wide by 2.5/8" deep channels. 2"x3"X1/2" AL block.

Thisis my first one. I have a few plans I may or may not get to to make it better, but being there are already exellent [email protected] out there I am going to finish my Circular block with the center inlet and duel outlet. But I just had to do this first.

How did you macnine the spiral? I assume its CNC from the pic. I would like to try something like that but it will be hand ground.

No more Copper for my mill. It is way to hard to mill. 10times worst than AL. It would take 6 hours to mill that on my mill without tearing it up. I need a stouter mill!!! Anyway there isn't much difference temo wise between Al and Copper. I tested it with one of my blocks. Both identical on the same system and there was less than a C difference between the two. It will vary between different blocks but not enough to worry about.

Yep, but not for long. Monday I am sending some parts to Fixittt to see if they fit his and I need to order some stuff to makeit right again.

That credit actually goes to Fixittt as he wrote both articles about the cost. He is in that very process right now trying to get his [email protected] mass produced to keep up with demand.

Sounds like I should be saving up for a decent desktop mill and later upgrade to CNC. I'll keep my eyes pealed for something that will do the job.
