just got my A7A266....need some help!

I was able to take my Duron 750 to 920 completely stable at 1.65v. I can post at 1ghz @ 1.8v but no boot. I need more voltage! Is there some kind of a mod or something that i can do to raise the voltage? I would very much like to have 2.0v. I think 1.9v should be enough to boot up at 1ghz.

Also, why can't i unlock my processor? I tried using a mechanical pencil, and still no luck. Should i try a #2 pencil?

A7a266 also with TB 1.2 that does over 1.45 luckily

Yes retry with #2 pencil and use magnifying glass

As for volt mod on this mobo i am waiting for info too
I have an idea but alas not enough money left after upgrade to risk my mobo

Well, maybe you need better cooling instead of more voltage. What's your HSF, temps?

For my heatsink i have a big silver heatsink. LoL. I don't know what it is called, but it's definetly not like a fop or anything. I know what i am talking about, just i have got no idea what heatsink it is.

My temps are completely screwed up! I am always @ 48C idle full load , anything. So there is no way for me to tell my temps. I am going to try to unlock my Duron now! THANX AGAIN!

The only way to change mult on some of the A7A266s seems to be using the jumpers...the BIOS just wont do it.

OMG, thats awesome, i thought i messed it up! WHEW!!! Ok, so it should work if i use the jumpers?

I did the voltage mod on the chip, so i can get 1.85v, and it worked perfectly, and i also redid the multiplier, so i am gonna try the jumperless mode. The next thing i am gonna get is a new heatisnk!
