I just installed a new Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 Windforce OC 3GB GDDR5 Graphics Card and installed the latest drivers and I have noticed that the dual fans on the card are not running.
I checked the temp with Speccy and here is what it says,

This card only had a 6 pin power connector is that all it is supposed to have?? I am wondering why the fans are not running

Install GPU-Z then post a better screenshot. My first thought would be the power management of your Nvidia drivers. It's normal. If ti get's too hot they should kick on.

I already have GPU-Z I assume you went to see the graphics window.

No use the temp monitor function or use HWMontior. Speccy is no good.

You said download CPU-Z I already had it so I posted a screenshot. You don't like Speccy but many do so instead of telling me it is "no good" maybe explaining why you say that would help?

What I said was quite clear. You need something that can monitor temps. It's your drivers doing that I repeat the fans will kick in when your card is under load. I just suggested reading the temps too ease your mind.

Thank you for telling me that the fans will kick in when they need to that explains why they were not running when I first started my system up again after the install.

It seems that you forgot what you told me so I'll remind you,

Yes that's normal "0dB" some partners call it.

Completely normal. I bet the box even mentions it...or as at least the card's webpage does...;)

Yep. Cards wont shop without the required power connections.

Opty wanted to see the temperatures of the GPU in GPUs.;)
