Allright its oc'd to 3.6 im running that 2 hour test on it now i had it at 3.7 but it failed the test bsod so lets hope it can take it on 3.6

What we would ask now is for you to send us pictures of CPU-z tabs: "CPU", "Memory" and "SPD". First, crop and capture the images with "Snipping Tool" found in the Windows Accessories group. Then go to a new post window and click on the "Go Advanced" button. Then click on the paper clip tool at the top of the advanced post window. An image locating and uploading tool will pop up and the rest is obvious.

What is your vcore set to at 3.6 and what are your core temps?

By the way, I forgot to tell you earlier, disable Cool N Quiet and C1E in bios and then go to Windows' Control Panel to Power Options and change it from Power Save to Performance. These "green" power saving technologies can have a negative impact on overclocking at the higher end.

one other thing you can try with the 555 is to see if you can unlock its other cores. the 555 is a 955 with two cores turned off.

If you can unlock them, they probly won't overclock as far, but you never know. but if you get a triple core at say 3.4 GHz it'll still be more powerful than a dual at 3.6

It's a 550 not a 555 and his motherboard only has the 700 SB. 710 and higher is required for core unlocking.

I belive it vcore is 1.365 and i just saw that message ill disable all that right now

Okay, you need to start increasing your vcore now. 1.365 is not enough to give a good overclock. Don't be timid on this. Even 1.5-1.55 shouldn't hurt the CPU as long as core temps don't transcend the mid 50s range so make sure you monitor temps with every vcore increase. Not saying jump right to 1.55 vcore, still do things in small increments.

One more housekeeping matter which is a common courtesy on the forum and that is please put your system information in some detail in your "Sig" so it shows up at the bottom of every post you make.
