As the title says, just finally finished my new build and want to know if temps are ok.

i7-2700k @ 4ghz, HT on, on full auto in bios(just installed last night so testing at the moment before Oc'ing)
vcore reporting 1.22v @ 4ghz

Idle in the mid to late 20's
minimum I've seen it idle at is as follows..

core 0=24
core 1=25
core 2=21
core 3=17

There can be 8-10 degrees difference when it's idle between core 0 and 3.
Tried reseating the block and no difference.

Prime blend for 10 mins and max temps are as follows..

core 0=48
core 1=51
core 2=49
core 3=44

prime max heat test for 10 mins..

core 0=50
core 1=53
core 2=51
core 3=47

Using realtemp to monitor temps.
The asus monitor reports cpu temps about 10 or more degrees lower than realtemp though?

Using MCP35x on silent fan profile so the fastest I've seen it run is 38%
Using phobya xtreme nova 1080 rad in a radbox about a meter away from pc on the floor. It has 4 x phobya g-silent 180mm fans on low setting on fan controller.

Core 3 always seems to be a fair bit cooler than the other 3. As I said I tried reseating the block but no difference.
Using EK Hf nickel plexi and arctic mx-4.

Any feedback would be welcomed.

Thanks,

Mark.

Differences between the cores are normal.

Temps look ok, even without knowing your ambient temperature.

Temps look good. ASUS mobo software is innacurate.

Run Heaven beanchmark on high, loop it, and at the same time run Prime 95 small FFTS. Run both for 30 minutes to see if temps are okay too. Only then will the system be under full stress.

ok.. Prime and haven running.

Max cpu temps..

core 0=59
core 1=64
core 2=61
core 3=58

Max gpu temp on both cards = 42
