Make sure it says 'Made in Japan' on the package. There is only one TY factory and it is in Japan.

I think we have established that TY DL are now being made but only sold in 1 or 10-pack packages.


If they ever start making 50 packages in the future - maybe then they would be less expensive. Thanks for this information, I did not know about it.

Wish TY made some LightScribe media. Much easier to read a nice image label than scribbled Sharpie

My drive will take practically anything to burn a data CD, albeit with occasional coasters, but won't even start to burn on audio disc on anything but TY.

I record 2 DVD-R DL and it works without any problems !
