The vmod is very easy. In fact, I did this mod last year and even went one step further with it where I included a pot so I could vary my vcore from 1.75 to 2.2v~.
 
I want to...but im to scared of fryin my proc :( the extra heat will prolly be to much for my frickin radiator ne way, weak arse black ice micro..... *grumble*
 
This project went well!
Used a 50k Ohm cermet w/10k Ohm resistor for the vcore mod.
The tri-state switch block is for the 'Multi-lite' multiplier mod.
Tested multipliers 9 thru 14 and all is well.
Vcore gives a range of 1.82 to 2.01 volts.
