i know theres been tons of posts about lighting up your keyboard, but all the ones i looked at seemed to make it necesary to run a seperate cable to the computer. wouldnt there be a way to hook the thing up using the power being sent to the keyboard? what i would love is to cram the inverter and everythign in the cable and solder into the power cable coming into the keyboard. should be possible right? i just want it to look cleaner is all. thanks guys.

After you make the secondary power line for your keyboard you could either wire loom, spiral wrap, or reinsulate the cord together...

never heard of a firewire keyboard, .. i'll look into it for you.
