Kfactor: Could someone confirm these calculations?

Running an SMP client on my Q9450 CPU, I received a WU for project 10130. Looking here:

http://fah-web.stanford.edu/psummary.html

I see this project has a "preferred" at 6.58 days, with a "final" due at 10.97 days.

I'm currently getting about 2000 PPD, and sitting at 10%. That 10% took about 6 hours (maybe a tad more).

So, my math is...

(24h / 6h) * 10 = ~40% completion per day on this WU.

So, in 2.5 days, I should be able to complete this WU.

Now what I need to confirm is this whole KFactor thing. This 2.5 days is under the Preferred deadline, so I would qualify for the bonus. Once I complete 10 of these types of WUs (that's like 25 days), I'll be able to get the KFactor bonus, correct?

Does that KFactor "kick in" for the previous 10 WUs I just completed?

Just trying to as optimum as I can be with the limited hardware I have (a GTX 295 is folding on both GPUs on the same machine, generating 16.5k PPD).

Thanks!

No... the QRB (quick return bonus) does not retroactively apply to previously completed WUs.

What are you using to calculate PPD? If it's HFM then by default it's calculating the PPD with bonus applied. You can, however, turn off the bonus calculation in the Preferences to see more accurately what you're actually getting since you have not yet qualified for QRB.

Damn... But per my calculations above, it would "start" applying for WU #11 and on? And I am assuming that is if I can continue to return the WU before the preferred time.

Using FAH GPU Tracker. I doubt it is taking into account the bonus, as it looks to be exactly 1:1 to what my stats are showing (hourly, daily) over at extremeoverclocking.com.

I'm about to switch to HFM once I get a few more boxes up and running.

You can get the raw production numbers (not including upload, download, or downtime) of SMP WUs here.
