A couple of days ago I set my FSB from 133 to 150 on an AMD 1600+ (Mainboard Abit NF7)

The systems was perfectly stable at first. Now, after a reboot my System detects no Audigy 2 present. Complete XP reinstall didnt help!

Driver won't reinstall, detects no sound card

Can setting your FSB to a non-standard FSB kill your Sound Card?

Anybody got some hints? Would appreciate it

Also, sometimes other components become unstable with overclocking. I know on my old motherboard whenever I'd OC the Wireless PCI adapter would stop working, and I'd lose sound. (audigy 2 zs at the time). Did you try pulling back on the fsb overclock?

Thx guys. AGP speed was locked at 66 all the time. I *have* pulled back the oc, I'm at 133 now, still doesn't work. I tried it in another PCI slot, but not yet in another computer.

I had some problems with my NF7-S vers2 and the Audigy LS when overclocking too.Locked pci bus and all. I have no idea why.

How did you fix it? Did you at all? :eh?:

Okay, doesn't work in another rig either :bang head

Guess my Audigy is toast, for whatever reason.
