Hi all,

I know that Corsair and Crucial are top memories, but in my country they are very expensive and I can’t buy it, unfortunately.

Therefore, I wish to ask if someone knows if Kingston’s PC2100-DDR memory modules are good enough for soft overclocking (CAS2 and SPD settings), since they are cheaper for me.

thanks

Hi Talibano, welcome to the Forum,
I suggest you to go with Crucial PC2100 Unbuffered, that generally can go up to 150Mhz and more, for me are the best of all for the $ ;)

Welcome to the forums.

I use Kingmax 2100 and it runs at cas2 no problems. If you intend to overclock, knigmax works better with the ddr voltage at stock.
