Hello all,
I just put a new build together with a Kingston HyperX 120GB SSD as my OS drive. After updating everything I can think of (chipset drivers, motherboard BIOS, SSD Firmware) these are the results:
These are definitely not SATA3 speeds. I have triple checked that I do in fact have the drive plugged into Port1 of my Asus P8Z68-V Gen3 board which is a SATA3 port.
Any ideas? I also emailed Kingston, but they haven't responded.
Full system specs are in signature.
EDIT - Seems like Intel Rapid Storage Application even think it is a SATA2 device. For comparisons sake, my 2 TB Hitachi backup drive shows up in IRST as a SATA3 device. The Hitachi drive is on port 2 whereas the Kingston is on port 1.
