Hi there :)

I have 2 Dimms of Kingston KVR400X64C3A/512 memory (1 with Kingston DDR-SDRAM PC3200 512 chips and the other with Infenion DDR-SDRAM PC3200 512).

I want to add and another GB of Ram to my pc (2x512 - total 2GB). It is better to choose the same chips, PC3200 (same models), or if i take 2 PC3500 or PC4000 i'm gonna have problems with that?

My motherboard is the P4P800-Deluxe.

The memory timings i have now are:
FSB : DRAM=(1:1),
CAS_Latency=2.5,
RAS to CAS Delay=4,
RAS Precharge=3,
Cycle time (tras)=5

I must choose the same ram to get the best of it or im gonna have problems if i choose a PC3500 memory? (im running in dual channel now - perfomance mode ON).

Thank you.

well i don't know if its like on an amd system, if you run two speeds of ram, the ram will run at the lowest speed, so if you buy pc3200 and 3500, the 3500 with run at 3200 speeds.

It is better to order 2x512MB ram of KVR400X64C3A/512 then.

Something else. If i order the KVR400X64C25/512 and not the KVR400X64C3A/512 is it better for the system with the difference of CL 2.5 of the new DIMMS? (the others are CL 3). My CAS Latency now is 2.5 with the CL 3.
