Has anyone mounted a blue orb or lasagna cooler on the northbridge?
will the orb bolt holes match up or do you have to glue it on?

think ed or joe used a lasagna but not sure from their pic how they mounted it.

Maybe elmers :)

Those guys can do anything and make it work

I always have to get a bigger hammer

The blue orb bolt holes do not match - it is a little narrower, but supposedly it is possible to just cut off the corners of the boltholes and use washers under the pins.

yes I remember reading something about that.
Yo are you using anything but the green sinc on your board?
I see oc is putting a sinc on the other chips as well.
man they need to stick all the mb chips in one spot and put a sinc across the whole mess :)

I put arctic silver under the greenie and I placed a 40mm fan on top of it, bolted down with two small metal screws. I also placed small heatsink on top of the ICS clock generator chip. To hold it I superglued it with just one drop to the transistor right next to it (that way I can still remove it if I have to).

I still have the blue orb, but I do not feel like modifying it, the 40mm fan seems to do a good job. The Blorb will likely go on a graphics card.
