Does using the integrated motherboard fan headers, as opposed to using leads from the PSU to power case fans, lead to any additional instability? Also, what is the rating for the fan headers on a KK266 motherboard? I have Panaflo 92mm fans, not the low or high cfm ones but the middle one, and wondered if it would hurt anything to power one or two of them from the motherboard. Thank you for your help.

Please excuse this post, I meant to post it in the AMD motherboard forum. Mark

Well, if you put to much stress on them, you may very well short out your motherboard. That's why some fans recommend you to use a four pin molex connector, like the Delta Black Label. If your system runs fine right now, you probably won't have to worry about them unless you start adding more cards which could then lead to voltage instabilities

I would put your fans on a 4 pin connector, just to be on the safe side, better safe than sorry, right.
