KK266-r ACPI issue with w2k Quadcity could you give use some background info on this!

I would love to hear the basics about this and why/how to solve the interupt question. I have read the FAQs on amdmb.com/fullon3d but I feel like the users here could learn about it if you could give a quick summary of the issues and maybe the important links too! thanks.

If you use ACPI with WIN2K, the same IRQ is assigned to ALL pci-devices (included internal ones)which support IRQ-sharing. The only way to avoid this (as far as I know) is not enabling ACPI.

It's sure a prroblem if all devices own the same irq and their drivers don't support irq-sharing like they should...
