Well here we go: KK266-R, Enermax EG365 (350W) PS, 256 Meg Crucial PC-133 CAS2, 1.2 Ghz 266 FSB T-bird. When I attempt to power on I get the normal one beep then an IWill logo and some icon on my screen....which stays...no CPU or PCI detection screens, etc. I've tried both the CPU and memory in another system where they worked fine. All fans are going on, all jumpers are correct. I've tried both RAID and IDE configs, reset the CMOS, checked for mb stands that might short out the mb, checked all connections.....could the PS be putting out 12V only and not other voltages? Any ideas would be appreciated.

I would hazard a guess that you may have a dead mobo. :( But I could be wrong too. Just keep trying things until you figure it out...

Hmm sounds like youve covered all the bases to me. Why don't you try swapping powersupplys out? Its usually just 4 screws that hold them in.
Id venture to say the board is dead also. Is it new?

Sounds as though the psu is fine - the graphics card runs off the 3.3V (and maybe 5V, I'm not sure) line, so it wouldn't work if the psu was only giving 12V. And seeing as the cpu voltage is derived from the 3.3V, then that ought to be ok too. I'd guess that the mobo is dead, in which case bad luck, try and RMA it.

I can't install anything.......just get that fixed screen.......will substitute PS later, but I think you guys are right, brand new mb is DOA

am using some old PCI video card that I had just to get system up-am waiting for a Kyro II due tomorrow. I'll be trying the Enermac in my old system tomorrow, also willl see what IWill tech says manana

I found my problem!!!! The old Cirrus Logic PCI vid card was apparently incompatible with the IWill. I plugged in the Kyro II I got today as a last rtesort before I RMA'd the board; it booted and came up normal....!

GREAT!!! Now good luck playing "Lotto" (Which one won't crash my system) with the Via 4in1 drivers... It's always the last thing you look for, perhaps cause afterward you stop lookin?
