I got my Koolance Exos up and running this past weekend. I am using the CPU-200G CPU cooler (ya think? )and the new CHC-A09 Video cooler.
I am getting 34°C idle and 40°C load on my Barton 2500+ @ 3200+. Vcore 1.65.
I am getting 36°C idle and 42°C on my 9700pro stock speed. I was running it in mode 2 so the fans will speed up as the temp goes up, but they haven't sped up yet. So I am back on mode 1. I'm sure the temps and the fans will rise some when the summer TX heat comes back. Also the fact that I didn't have to raise my Vcore any is a contributing factor of my results.
I was running a Alpha PAL-8045 with a 42 cfm fan. My temps were only about 1-2°C higher using the Alpha. My temps on the Vid card when I had the stock heatsink/fan on it were around 65°C load. I added the Zalman Heatpipe and they dropped to around 50°C load. Now it's running 42°C load with the watercooling.
I know all about the "Build and piece together your own kit, buy a real kit from a good company, etc..." Well I tried that early in the summer and all I did was get ****ed. I had it runnin decent in some other posts I made on here a while back, then it all fell apart so I said screw it. So... I'm just posting this for future references when people go searching around here on this forum. It looks good sitting on top of my Yeong Yang server cube and I have just 3 fans in the Yeong case all running the lowest speed on the fan controller.
