i just recently switched frommy asus a7a266 to a abit kr7a and everything installed nicely and it set up and is running fine and i am simply amazed at how much easier it will be to overclock with this board (yay. my cpu IS unlocked).

however, there are two questions i have about this board and motherboard monitor 5.

1) try as i might, i can't seem to find the fan header that is associated with the board sensor W83697HF-2. now this is a small concern, but it would be nice to be able to read the rpm of my ps. i was wondering if anyone had any success with this.

2) the displays that it gives for the -12 and -5 volt indicators is alittle....off. atleast compared to how my old board would read and to the name of the indicator. i am wondering if the readings in the attached img are typical for this board.

1. Have you tried the fan header between CPU's socket and ATX Power connector (there are 2 next to each other).
2. I think -12V and -5V lines only used by ISA cards which KR7A does not have.

hmm. well, if the neg feeds are just for isa slots, that would make sense then. and i have tried all the fan headers, minus the one that the cpu fan is connected to. but, i suppose i can't hurt to try em again

I would like to offer some help, but my rpm sensor works just fine. There could possibly be a problem with your PSU. You may want to turn your computer off and switch the header for the CPU fan and the PSU fan...considering you already know that the first header works. Otherwise, just be happy that that is the worst problem you have eh. :)
