Hello. I was wondering if Kreton memory is any good. I might be getting two sticks of PC2100 512MB Non-ECC Unbuffered Kreton memory. Specs are here: http://www.kreton.com/data_sheets/VT 512MB DDR SD-DIMM(32Mx8)pc2100.pdf

I'm getting PC2100 because I have an older mobo which only supports 266MHz RAM. Just wondering if this is any good. Also can anyone tell what the CAS Latency on this RAM is? On the specs it says 2/2.5(clock). So is it 2.0 or 2.5? Thanks.

I just got 2 sticks of PC3500 Blitz from them. It (I think) runs at 433mhz, with 2-3-3-6 timings. It does those timings above 400, anyways. But, CPUZ shows it is just speedbinned PC3200. That disappointed me. But, also, when I have all 3 DIMMs filled in my motherboard, it will by default boot at 333mhz, even though I have 3 sticks of PC3500... And even when I make it a 260mhz HTT, CPUZ shows my RAM as 208mhz, not 216... But those are motherboard problems. So, I've not gotten it to 433mhz yet.

But I'm sure PC2100 will be fine. Slow ram like that, I would just go with the cheapest non-generic stick.

Thank you t_biggs. This RAM will be going into a non-overclocked computer. So I don't really care about how well this RAM is for overclocking. Thanks again.
