From reading this board, and other sites and boards related to overclocking I have become a little bit confused.

From what I have read the KT-133A is better than the KT-133 for overclocking because it supports a 133mhz FSB.

The bit that confuses me is that my mobo manual says it has the KT-133 chipset, but in the BIOS it has the option of a 133mhz FSB. Does this mean that it is actually a KT-133A?

The mobo is a Jetway 663AS Pro, and my proc is an 800mhz Duron.

If it has KT133, it cannot do 133MHz FSB. Sure, it supports it, but the chipset can't take it. People usually get 110MHz or so from KT133 boards, without any TurboPLL's or such 'extreme' mods.

Go ahead and give it a shot, i doubt it will even post if you have a KT133, but if it does do 133 mhz stabily then you obviously have a KT133A board :)

Umm, make sure that that 133 option isn't the MEMORY CLOCK option. Mine has that option also if I run my FSB at lower then 133. If I do lower it then I get that option to run my memory on a multiplier to get 133 off a 100FSB CPU. Just a suggestion.
