KT 400 Dragon (start)

I purchase a Soyo KT 400,and put in a 2000+,and running 512 pc2700 ram.My question is does anyone know why that when I hit the start button it takes about 35secs before it wants to boot.I have already tried different P.S,Memory,Reset CMOS quite a few times and to no prevail.Could it be a bad board?
Any help would be appreciated

I have almost the same setup that you have (xp2000 KT-400 Dragon Ultra, Corsair PC3200CL2), did you get the latest bios from Soyo? (kvx42aa3.bin, BIOS Revision: KVX4_2AA3) ?

Just got home.I really havent messed around with it,but no I didnt get the latest bios.just got the board a week ago and still a little leary on updateing.Do you think that is the prob?

Mine was acting like that and once I updated the bios, it didn't do it anymore, so it's worth a try anyways.

Just remember to save the old bios in case the new ones don't work. Also don't go for the overclockers bios.
