Got an Abit KT7 (VIA KT133) and ATI's RADEON DDR (32).

CAN ONYONE HELP!!!
1st: weird card driver installation, but I passed that switching driver off under safe mode and int the normal mode switching it on - it works at last, but here is not the end.
2nd AGP 4x :eek:n
Fast R-W turn: on
Fast writes: on
AGP control: auto

Result: under Quake - dying perfomance, bugs, after 2 min - halt. Screen is - 'teared' from time to time.

Result - halt during start up

Ya, still works, but how! slower than Riva2 Pro!!!!

I've got the lastest bios and the lastest drivers for VID.
Please if you know anything or have the same situation, or can advise - write.

What is your case setup? Do you have lots of fans to pump out hot air? Is Quake the only prog that screws up? Have you tried benchmarking the video? Try using 3dmark 2001 and see what happens.
 
sounds like you have the $in1 blues dood, youll prolly have to reformat ,then try just the VIA AGP driver and the IDE driver and see if it works in #D before setting up all your iother stuff ,,I have been down this road many times :p
