KV-85 confusion

http://www.abit-usa.com/products/mb/techspec.php?categories=1&model=305 ok that only says it has SATA, but the guy on the other end of the phone we odered it at said it UDMA drives would work to.

Board has SATA 1 and PATA 100. UDMA is the same as PATA. PATA is for hard drive or DVD wich use ribbon type cables. To the right of of RAM slots & above CMOS battery on KV-85. Blue one is IDE 1. Pin 1 on bottom.
SATA 1 would be better choice. SATA ports on bottom right.
