A few days ago I noticed my temps going up again. It have had to replace the thermal past on this build about twice as often as my other builds. Every year as apposed to every other year. I decided to lap the processor and I am glad I did. Seeing a solid 5 degrees lower under load per core.

4.7ghz @ 1.448v (a lot I know) Unstable at any voltage below this even at 4.0, Might as well do 4.7

What water block are you using for this CPU? Did you need to lap it as well? If memory serves me correctly Intel CPU's have a convex concave heat spreader and most water blocks are flat so it's no surprise that you would get better temps.

Well done.
