You don't need the two optical drives. The MSI one is not in stock anymore either, you might want to just plain remove it or change it for another one. You only need one optical anyhow.

Also, about the 295, you probably won't get it. They stopped producing them in November, there won't be any for a while. I work in a computer parts store, and I've had to turn people down or get them on an alternative video card like an XFX Radeon 5870 or even a 5970.

8 gig is a waste. Drop that down to 4gig and save some coin! Nothing out there that will need or use 8 gig. Unless its only for bragging rights in your sig...

Why AMD?

965 BE
XFX 5870
8gb G.Skill Ripjaws

$794.98 vs your proposed $950.97. Save you almost $160. Faster CPU, faster ram, and the fastest single GPU card, while being DX11 compatible. Then you'll as well have AMD's "Dragon" trifecta.

But, as Joeteck said, are you biased towards AMD? With that kind of budget, you should look at an Intel alternative as well.

I'd change the case as well, that case makes me cringe. But, that's just personal preference.

I agree with what Jon said.

You could go the Intel route, but the Intel thing is personal, I am used to and prefer them. Also, that case is not very good for cooling, like I said in the previous thread a Coolermaster CM690 or a HAF 922 would be great for you.
