LG Gcc 4120B help with reading formats DVD R-(R+)

Hello,

could you please let me know someone who has got dvd combo GCC 4120b how to update it so it can read DVD R+ and DVDR-...I've already updated the firmware to 202..but still no luck...So Do I really have to buy new DVD burner or to read the above formats or there is still a way to get around....

There are only certain brands that the drive can read. Check the LG website to get that list. I had it somewhere but I can't find it again.
