Ok, today I was digging through some old crap in my backroom. I came across 2 small 12 Volt lites that used to be in my car,

coming off the lites is a positive and negative lead,
so naturally I needed a switch, a broken lamp was more than happy to donate,

thing is, on the switch, it's a rocker switch, on the back of the switch it has 2 leads, I'm assuming it's positive / positive, being as the lamp would have grounded through the cord??? so should I ground this to my case, an empty connector? or is it positive / negative, but I don't see how it could interupt the current. I'm not sure, and this is the only thing holding me from puttin my PC back together right now, thx in advance

DO NOT GROUND TO YOUR CASE!

Use the 12v ground from a molex connector. You might be able to find a molex connector to wire the light up to at Radio Shack or Jameco, or the PC/electronic supply store of your choice. That way you can just plug it in to your power supply.

The yellow wire is 12v+, the red wire is 5v+, and the black wires are ground.

*edit* you posted before I was done typing, sorry. (I wish I had taken typing in school  )

well unfortunately the lites don't show up very well, they are blue on the edges of the cutout, my camera is junk.

the switch I put in is in the middle at the bottom, I heated up an exacto knife and went through the front panel like butter,

the fan slots I did with a dremel with a metal blade. except for the steel case, I did with cut off wheels.
unfortunately the grill I made for the front broke :(

I put in 2 80 mm fans from power supplies I had laying around, CPU temps @ idle dropped 10 degrees to 38,

and when I turn my 130mm fan on it drops to about 24/25 under load.

oh, btw my pc is an athlon XP 1700+ @ 1800 mhz or so
