linksys wap will it work with an ibook with an airport card in it?

I have a linksys wap and my wife just got an ibook and i just can't find anything that tells if it will work or not. I read somewhere that there is a d-link router/wap that will work.

any ideas or can someone tell me where i can find out?

should work without any problem.

I have an older mac G3 laptop that seamlessly connects to either my SMC-7004WBR or my D-Link DWL1000-AP. My brother's G4 with an airport card also has no problems hooking into the system.

Just had to make sure that the router allowed it an address - I use MAC address control - and it hooked right into the system.
