Well i have a laptop and i think its about time to switch it over to slackware 9.1 and i was wondering is there a driver so my linksys wireless 802.11b can talk to my WEP encrypted network. thnx

It looks like most 802.11b PCMCIA cards, including the Linksys WPC-11, are supported by the hermes driver (Network device support -> Wireless LAN (non-hamradio) -> Hermes chipset 802.11b support in the kernel config menu). Having a wired LAN, I don't have any personal experience setting up 802.11b networks, but this should get you started.
