Mods sorry if this is in the wrong area..i wasnt sure if it should go into alternative OS or here..

Hi all, i am running debian 3.0r0 with kde 3.03 and when i try to run the latest F@H client i get this error every time:

- Ask before connecting: No
- User name: touser (Team 32)
- User ID not found locally
+ Requesting User ID from server
Segmentation fault

and the client closes..has anyone else had this problem? If so is there a solution? Thanks in advance! :)

Debian is known to have problem with F@H try gentoo linux at www.gentoo.org
it has the latest kernel which optimize with athlon cpu specifically and you will have wonder why you have to go thru so much pain with Debian.

I have over 20 box running with gentoo and Redhat without a single problem since 6/29/02
