How much more if any can the linux smp fold over the XP smp?
being that i have a rig running 24/7 folding i think if linux would work better i better go with that. if thats the case to i will have to set up a extra hard drive to run it on the q6600 when im not home.

I thought I remember reading Linux SMP vs Windows SMP was like 200ppd increase for linux
I could be wrong tho

Linux SMP was about 15% faster than Win SMP until Affinity Changer came out. With AC running Win SMP closes the gap to around 5%.

Its not hard. I set all three of my folders up during the last contest with ubuntu or xubuntu. I actually like the way ubuntu works vs windows but there are trade off's. That being said, I think you need to keep everything Windows..... :D I'm shutting down for a few days and I don't want to have you get too big of a lead on me, Hehe....
